Why I left
Eighteen months ago, Flamme was about to shut down.
I watched it from the kitchen table. My husband An was building Flamme, an AI app for couples, and it was running out of road. Then it wasn’t. 200,000 users, 50 million organic views on TikTok, and in 2026 an acquisition by Arya to build the biggest AI-powered couples wellness platform.
I had a comfortable job at Mirakl, a good title, a good salary, and a very clear view of what platforms do when they work. And every evening I was watching something that broke the rule I had been taught: that organic growth is about creativity.
It isn’t. After hundreds of content experiments I can tell you what it is. An optimization game wearing a creative costume.
The companies that look creative from the outside are usually the ones running the tightest loop. So I quit, and now I run that loop for founders who don’t have eighteen months to figure it out on their own.
